Farabi is a Chartered Scientist with experience across artificial intelligence, blockchain and emerging technology. He is also the author of non-fiction and speculative-fiction books, including Exponential Progress and The Sentience Codex series.

The creation of his book trailer remains one of Farabi’s most rewarding creative accomplishments. More than ten voice actors and writers across four countries collaborated on the production, with Farabi involved in writing, directing and post-production.

AI-powered
public health.

During the early stages of COVID-19, Farabi led the AI-powered CO-App DHS research, combining computational intelligence with secure, consent-led data-sharing. The peer-reviewed platform paper was published in Frontiers in Blockchain; the original portfolio records subsequent citations by BMJ and IEEE publications.

Plexal to
Innovate Oman.

At Plexal, Farabi participated in policy development and worked alongside Andrew Roughan’s team. He also contributed to Innovate Oman, a collaboration involving the Anglo-Omani Society, Imperial College Business School and the governments of Oman and the UK.
