The practice / 01
Farabi leads research in computational intelligence, including artificial intelligence and distributed technologies such as blockchain.
He works with industry partners to turn emerging ideas into structured experiments, build agile innovation ecosystems and strengthen the connection between startups and academia.
Farabi is a Chartered Scientist with experience across artificial intelligence, blockchain and emerging technology. Alongside his scientific and strategic work, he writes non-fiction and The Sentience Codex speculative-fiction series. His books are available through Waterstones, Amazon and other international booksellers.
He has managed multinational grant programmes, coordinated international cross-cutting projects and supervised policy-led work for public- and private-sector organisations.
He has led technology-based research programmes in regulated environments, overseeing projects spanning machine learning, generative AI and blockchain.
Research leadership / 2017–2024
Between 2017 and 2024, Farabi led and supervised multidisciplinary technology-research experiences in regulated environments. The original portfolio records more than ten technical research projects, combining research design, industry collaboration and the development of the next generation of scientists and leaders.
He has designed and delivered workshops for audiences at Imperial College London, the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford and King’s College London, and has spoken at international conferences.
