COVID-19 AI and Blockchain Research
Peer-reviewed research into an AI-enabled, blockchain-based approach to COVID-19 data sharing, published separately from the CO-App digital-health application.

A rapid AI and blockchain response to fragmented health data
During the early stages of COVID-19, Farabi co-authored original research investigating how artificial intelligence, machine learning and a blockchain-based platform could support authentic, timely access to clinical and non-clinical information.
The paper set out a high-level design for data sharing in pandemic containment, including computational classification, consent, trust, identity and access. The associated CO-App Digital Health Solution is presented separately as the application developed from this wider programme of work.
Published evidence
Frontiers in Blockchain published the peer-reviewed research in November 2020. This page preserves the publication as a distinct research output while linking it to the separate AI-powered CO-App Digital Health Solution and its product design.
